If you have been diagnosed with cancer, heart disease or any other illness while employed as a firefighter, you may be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits.

Who We Are

Welcome to Eternal Flames Foundation!  We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and resources to firefighters and their families who may be facing an occupational illness as defined in  Texas Government Code Chapter 607.

Our team is comprised of dedicated volunteers who have personally experienced the challenges of workers’ compensation, employer issues, paperwork, and the impact of occupational illness on their loved ones.

At Eternal Flames Foundation, we believe no one should fight alone and no one is forgotten.  We are committed to providing education, resources and support to to ensure firefighters and their families have the tools they need to navigate this difficult time.  We have been there and are willing to help.

Our mission is to provide education and resources to firefighters and their families regarding occupational illness, and to advocate for departmental and policy changes to ensure safety and well-being.
